This summer has been particularly exciting at Taylormade, filled with wonderful experiences and cherished moments.

We have 8 wonderful kids, and we began breeding Miniature Golden Retrievers because I wanted to recreate the amazing dog I had growing up for my children to enjoy and bond with. Our kids are heavily involved in the care and nurturing of our Mini Goldens, helping to ensure they receive the love and attention they deserve.

Recently, our son Noah got married to his beautiful companion Josie on August 7th. Their wedding was truly one of the happiest days of my life, filled with joy and love. Noah is currently serving in the Utah National Guard and is diligently training to become a skilled pilot, while Josie is set to complete her accounting degree this coming winter.

Here’s Noah with his Mini Golden, Ruby, who is also the proud mother of our Mini Golden retriever, Coco. Excitingly, Coco is expected to have a new litter of adorable puppies ready to find their forever homes around December 16th, 2024.

The wedding was such a blessed event and I can wait to see all the formal wedding photos. These are the snapshots we took that day. I hope you enjoy! Of course our two-year-old loosened his bow tie and took his shoes off as quickly as possible. Comfort is the goal here.

Our 1st wedding down and I think it was a great success! I was completely in love with my dress from Baltic Born. It was so comfortable and elegant at the same time. Josie’s mom’s dress was also from Baltic Born as well.

Parents to Frankincense and Melissa are Cozy and Kevin. They both possess wonderful and friendly dispositions that make them truly enjoyable companions. Cozy is sweet and gentle, radiating warmth and affection, while Kevin is athletic and a total lover boy; when he looks into our eyes, it feels as if he can see deep into our souls. Both parents have undergone extensive health testing through Embark DNA, ensuring their well-being and genetic health. Additionally, they have completed their OFA evaluations for hips, elbows, heart, eyes, and patellas, and have also been tested with PennHIP. Both Cozy and Kevin carry copies of the low-shed gene, which we greatly appreciate. While they are still considered shedding dogs, they shed much less fur compared to the standard Golden Retriever, making them a wonderful choice for families who prefer a cleaner home.

From our delightful Moana themed Litter, we have an absolutely precious, tiny male puppy available for adoption. Hei Hei boasts the most gorgeous cream, almost white coat that glistens beautifully in the light. This little guy is very easy-going in nature and has shown himself to be a little sweet lover boy. He is charting to be approximately 20 pounds when fully grown, making him a perfect size for many families. His price is $5500, which includes the $500 deposit. He will be ready to go home with his new family at 8 weeks of age on September 6th. Additionally, he will have his comprehensive vet check on August 29th to ensure he is healthy and ready for new adventures.

Parents to Hei Hei are Clementine, affectionately known as Kyla, and Huxley, whom we refer to as Hux. Both of these delightful canines possess wonderful, friendly dispositions that make them truly enjoyable companions to have in any home. Kyla is known for her calm, sweet, and gentle nature, providing a soothing presence, while Hux is characterized by his friendly demeanor and exuberant energy that brightens any day. Both parents have undergone extensive health testing through Embark DNA, which ensures their well-being and genetic health are well within standard parameters. Additionally, they have successfully completed their comprehensive OFA evaluations for hips, elbows, heart, eyes, and patellas, and have also undergone testing with PennHIP for further assurance. Both Kyla, weighing in at 20 lbs, and Hux, at 15 lbs, are our rare toy-sized Miniature Golden Retrievers, which adds to their unique charm.

Our beautiful Halo recently had her vet check and ultrasound, and we were thrilled to find out she is expecting a total of 8 puppies, with the possibility of a 9th one making an appearance as well. This will be Halo’s final litter, and we have cherished her previous puppies, keeping 3 of them—Cozy, Angelo, and Tristan—to contribute to our breeding program. Hux and Halo consistently produce some of the most gorgeous puppies, showcasing their remarkable genetics. We still have openings available on the waitlist for those interested, and we are excited to share that these adorable puppies will be ready to go to their forever homes around October 19th, 2024.

We also wanted to announce that we have an adult 2-year-old Taylormade Mini Golden in Virginia that is in need of a new home.

Baylee loves to show and receive affection from anyone and everyone. She is very loving and sweet. She enjoys tug-o-war with her rope and retrieving her balls. She gets very excited for her morning and evening walks and is very content while sun bathing throughout the day. She is the best companion anyone could have in their family. She is very gentle, patient, and aware with kids and infants.

Baylee knows just about any trick and thrives off of routine. She is spayed and up to date on vaccines.

The only concern with Baylee is that due to being apart of a military family she has struggled with four relocations in her short two years of life. It’s been a hard toll on her, as anyone can understand. We are looking for a home that will be stable and give her the stability she needs to enjoy life to the fullest.
